The Attic Terms and Conditions:We can only reserve an item for a maximum of 24 hours without a deposit. We can reserve an item for a maximum of 14 days with a deposit, unless agreed prior to the transaction, whereupon storage costs will be incurred. Do not assume that an item is reserved for you unless you have received an answer, either verbally or written from a member of The Attic team. We are unable to purchase items without proof of identification (N.I.E or Passport No.). We will only purchase electrical items if they can be fully tested. The Attic endeavours to ensure that the information presented in this website, Facebook or any other resource is accurate at the time of publication. It accepts no responsibility for any mistakes, inaccuracies or mis-descriptions, whether by inclusion or omission or otherwise. Prices and details shown are subject to amendment without notice, and The Attic accepts no responsibility for any such amendments.
Delivery Terms and Conditions: The Attic offers a paid for delivery service from our shop to the door of your building. It is your responsibility to ensure there is clear access to the door of your building. Our delivery staff may place your items for you by request. If this is the case, The Attic will not accept responsibility for any damage to the item or the fabric of your building if placed by our staff as this is not part of our paid for delivery service. If our staff agree to place your items in specific rooms, it is your responsibility to ensure that there is sufficient access and space for your items. Our staff will not move furniture or clear access to place your items unless previously organised. The Attic delivery staff maintain the right to refuse a delivery further than your front door if access is not sufficient or access is insufficiently described. The Attic delivery staff maintain the right to refuse your delivery if there is no access to your property due to road works, dangerous access, height and/or width restrictions and if the access is insufficiently described. In the case of an item of furniture needing to be dismantled to enter your property and then rebuilt in your desired room. It is your responsibility to ensure there is enough space to enable the construction of said furniture. There will be an extra charge for this service. The Attic delivery staff will deliver to apartments, but only if there is a lift that is sufficient for your purchased items. There will be an extra charge for deliveries for apartments that do not have lifts.
Buying Terms and Conditions: If you send photographs of items you have for sale and are given a quote from The Attic for those items, all quotes given are subject to viewing. The Attic reserves the right to refuse items that have only been seen and quoted for by photograph. When buying your items The Attic is your client and as such we expect you as the seller to have some idea of how much you would like for your items. If The Attic is successful in purchasing your items we would expect the items to be emptied ready for removal and access out of your property to trouble free. The Attic does not accept responsibility for damage to your property if access is impeded in any way. The Attic reserves the right to refuse the items that you have for sale. The Attic reserves the right to refuse to purchase your house clearance if there are any changes to the inventory. All items purchased must be inventoried and NIE or Passport numbers must be supplied, inventories need to be signed. All inventories with personal data are held on file at The Attic. This information is only for The Attic and no other parties, except in the circumstances the Guardia Civil request us to prove where an Item was purchased and from whom.
